More convenient than a pair of jumper cables!
I am a huge fan of keeping a portable battery in my car in case of emergency (has helped me more than once). The best features of this option are the price point and size. Further, everything fits easily into a hard sided case that takes up almost no space. If you need it, hookup and jumpstarting are a breeze and require no more engine knowledge than being able to connect the right cables to the right poles. Well worth the purchase.

Great for remote areas
In Texas we sometimes have rural areas that aren’t well covered by cell phone coverage. AAA doesn’t do much good out there. This is a great tool if you need it, although you hope you don’t. Besides, It’s small enough to throw into the back of your trunk and forget about it. It’s compact and doesn’t take up much room. In addition to charging your car, it has USB charging and a flash light. Convenient tool for emergencies!

Works well with trucks
I have one of these (different brand and size) for my car and have loved it. Works like a charm. When I went to use it on my truck, it didn’t have the juice to start my truck. This one however, starts my truck with ease! I keep it charged and ready to go in my truck just in case the battery dies on me when we’re camping and far away from anyone who could help with a jump.
