How to Maintain Your BuTure BR800
If you own a portable jump starter or are considering getting one, it’s crucial to understand how to keep it in top-notch condition
- Regular Inspection for Optimal Performance of Your BR800 Car Battery Jumper
- Proper charging is crucial to maintain the functionality of your BuTure BR800 car battery jumper.
- Storage. Proper storage is equally important, especially if you don’t use your BR800 frequently.
- Regularly testing your jump starter ensures that it’s in working condition when you need it.
- Whenever possible, store your BR800 portable jump starter in a moderate temperature environment between 50 ºF – 70 ºF. Like vehicle batteries, exposure to extreme temperatures is detrimental to jump starter batteries, both in the short term and long term.
- Respect the cycles. Every jump starter is subject to a duty cycle in which the vehicle can be cranked only so long before a period of rest is needed. For almost all jump starters, the recommended duty cycle is between 5-6 seconds of cracking followed by 3-5 minutes of rest.
- Clean clamps. A battery in poor condition may have battery acid on the posts, so wiping down the clamps after jump starting a vehicle always is a good practice to keep the clamps from becoming corroded

Awesome!
This thing blew my mind. Been using it on my ‘92 F150 since I never drive it. Went to start the engine and nothing happened after turning the key. Slapped this bad boy on there and it was like I had the power of two cars to jump it. Highly recommend so you do not have to find another car when traveling alone!

Great to have!
This was a lifesaver for me when my battery was dying and I didn’t have the extra $$ to get a new one for a month or so! It’s easy to use, (make sure it’s charged first), pop the hood and attach it to the battery. It didn’t take but a minute or two and my car started right up!

Nice
So I’ve had this for a little over a year and I’ve used it many times. It even saved me from having to use the push mower when my riding mower battery went to crap. One thing I found out recently is when you connect the clamps on the battery and it does it’s clicking noise it’s actually giving the battery a small charge to start it, it don’t need to be still connected when jumping it. Found that out for my riding mower. It’s not the best jumper and as it’s limits but for a quick jump as long as you’re battery isn’t 100% dead, it’ll do the trick.
